Qualified Counsellor role
We are currently seeking a Qualified Counsellor who is aligned to our vision, mission and values to join our team on a self-employed basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with adults, children and young people and complex trauma and able to accommodate flexible working hours.

Chair and Non-Executive Directors roles
We are looking for a Chair and Non- Executive Directors with experience to support the growth of our Community Counselling Services.

The Application Process
Applicants for the non-executive director roles can apply throughout the year.

Here at Community Counselling CIC, we are now in our eighth year of operation and have successfully delivered over 10,000 hours of counselling support to people in our local communities across the South West.
We are proud of how our services have grown as this reinforces the success of our Community Counselling model. Our trading and grant income has increased and our offer of free and affordable counselling has been extended to more people, responding quickly to provide support when and where it is needed.
Trainee Counsellors
Unfortunately our trainee placements are now full and we will be reviewing this again in Autumn 2026. In the meantime, if you would like to submit your information for consideration of any availability in the autumn, please complete the volunteer form at the bottom of this page and choose the trainee placement option.
