The grant received from Taunton Women’s Aid helps us to continue to support victims of domestic abuse in Taunton and the surrounding area. A further grant has also enabled us to provide the first National Women’s Aid Power of Change Course in Wellington. This means we can continue to offer counselling and support this year to adults and the children of adults who are victims of domestic abuse.

This year St Peter and St Paul Runnington continued their support to provide counselling for children, adults and families as part of a 3 year grant.

The People’s Local Trust awarded us a grant that contributes towards our counselling services across Somerset. With their support, we are able to offer free counselling to children and young people across the county of Somerset who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access support.

This year, Co-op Members supported our cause and we were awarded a grant to provide counselling for people in Taunton that are experiencing barriers to accessing mental health support.

Bridgwater Town Council awarded us £1,000 to provide counselling for children, adults and families in Bridgwater.

In February Wellington Town Council agreed to renew the Service Level Agreement for another 3 years. This enables us to deliver 348 hours of counselling per year to people who live in Wellington. This fund enables us to offer affordable and free counselling to those who most need it.

Taunton Women’s Aid awarded us £10,800 to support victims of domestic abuse in Wellington and the surrounding area. This means we can offer 216 hours of counselling this year to adults and the children of adults who are victims of domestic abuse.
